Pennsylvania High School Football - Hanover Area smashes Old Forge

September 12, 2025: Hanover Township, PA 18706

The Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA) football trounced the visiting Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA), 40-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Hawkeyes now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Berwick for a Wyoming Valley 2 outing on Friday, September 19. Hanover Area will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 48-6 non-league win over Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Old Forge drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 1-3. Western Wayne lost 49-7 in their recent non-league outing against Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA)
