Hart County Raiders (Munfordville, KY) boosters were happy Friday as they witnessed their football squad topple the host McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY), 28-20 in a non-league match.

The Raiders (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY). The Wildcats enter the 3A District 2 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Edmonson County was beaten by Breckinridge County (Harned, KY), 28-17, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 19. McLean County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 56-14 non-league loss to Caldwell County (Princeton, KY).
