New Mexico High School Football - Highland toppled by Los Alamos

The Highland Hornets football team (Albuquerque, NM), was outscored 13-0 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM)

The Hilltoppers (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars enter the 5A District 1 contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Capital thwarted Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM), 7-6, in a league contest.

The Hornets now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rio Grande for a 5A District 1 bout on Saturday, September 20. Highland will encounter a Ravens team coming off a 27-0 league loss to Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Ravens record now stands at 0-4.
