Virginia High School Football - Jefferson loses to Sherando

The Jefferson Cougars football team (Shenandoah Junction, WV), dropped 14-0 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA)

With the win, Sherando advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to James Wood (Winchester, VA) to encounter the Colonels in a Northwestern bout on Friday, September 19. The Colonels go into the bout with a record of 3-0. James Wood won 24-6 in their recent non-league bout against Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA)

The Cougars now hold a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martinsburg for a Eastern Panhandle match on Friday, September 26.
