The Kankakee Kays walloped the host Thornridge Falcons football team by a score of 82-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Kays face the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Kankakee will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Ironmen go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 55-7 league win over Urbana (Urbana, IL).

With the defeat, Thornridge drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL) to meet the Blazing Trojan in a Southland test on Saturday, September 20. The Blazing Trojan come into the test with a record of 2-1. Bloom lost 49-0 in their recent non-league test against Coal City (Coal City, IL)
