Washington High School Football - Sumner defeats Kennedy Catholic

In Friday's non-league match, the host Sumner Spartans football squad scored a good 28-0 victory over the Kennedy Catholic Lancers.

The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their match against West Linn (West Linn, OR). The Lions enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, West Linn thwarted Sherwood (Sherwood, OR), 49-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Lancers confront the Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) in a 4A North Puget Sound battle, on Saturday, September 20. Kennedy Catholic will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Bears go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 43-35 non-league win over Skyline (Sammamish, WA).
