The Kennedy Cavaliers felled the host Richard Montgomery Rockets football team by a score of 19-11 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cavaliers play the Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 19. Kennedy will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 38-0 non-league loss to Winters Mill (Westminster, MD).
The Rockets (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Colonels enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Magruder fell by Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD), 26-7, in a non-league challenge.
