The St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders walloped the visiting Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints football team by a count of 55-8 in Friday's league test.

The Crusaders now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Kimball for a Mid South - Teal test on Friday, September 19. St. Cloud Cathedral will meet a Cubs squad coming off a 22-14 league loss to Osakis (Osakis, MN). The Cubs record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Fighting saints host Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (Grove City, MN) to meet the Falcons in a Mid South - Teal test on Friday, September 19. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-3. Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City lost 29-22 in their recent non-league challenge against B O L D (Olivia, MN)
