Sandy Valley Sidewinders (Sandy Valley, NV) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV), 40-0 in a league match.

The Sidewinders now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Round Mountain for a 1A Southern (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 26.

The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV). The Panthers go into the 1A Southern (8 Man) challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Pahranagat Valley triumphed over Beaver Dam (Littlefield, AZ), 46-2, in a league test.
