Texas High School Football - Sterling trounces Lee

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Sterling Rangers football team scored a big 48-7 win over the Lee Ganders.

With the win, Sterling advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Rangers travel to Cesar E. Chavez (Houston, TX) to play the Lobos in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. The Lobos go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Cesar E. Chavez lost 44-0 in their recent non-league battle against Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX)

The Ganders now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Iowa Colony for a 5A-2 Region III District 9 battle on Thursday, September 18. Lee will play a Pioneers team coming off a 59-14 non-league win over Alief Elsik (Houston, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-0.
