Alabama High School Football - Lincoln defeated by Leeds

The Leeds Greenwave were victorious over the visiting Lincoln Golden Bears football team by a score of 45-15 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Greenwave face the Jacksonville Golden Eagles (Jacksonville, AL) in a 5A Region 6 challenge, on Friday, September 19. Leeds will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 42-9 league win over Center Point (Birmingham, AL).

The Golden Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Springville (Springville, AL). The Tigers enter the 5A Region 6 game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Springville fell by Bryant (Irvington, AL), 44-31, in a non-league game.
