In Friday's non-league game, the Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) football team triumphed over the visiting Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD), by a tally of 42-6.

In their next game, the Lancers face the Tuscarora Titans (Frederick, MD) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 19. Linganore will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Titans enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 34-21 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, MD).

The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against North County (Glen Burnie, MD). The Knights enter the Class 4A East game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, North County was trounced by Owings Mills (Owings Mills, MD), 26-18, in a non-league game.
