Colorado High School Football - Merino crushed by Mancos

The Mancos Bluejays overwhelmed the host Merino Rams football squad by a count of 50-8 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bluejays now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dolores for a A-8 Mountain (8 Man) test on Friday, September 26. Mancos will meet a Bears squad coming off a 28-0 non-league win over Rangely (Rangely, CO). The Bears record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Merino moves to 1-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Lyons (Lyons, CO) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Lyons lost 42-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Vail Christian (Edwards, CO)
