The Marion County Knights got by the visiting W.E.B. DuBois Academy Lions football team by a score of 20-14 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Knights meet the John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY) in a 4A District 2 test, on Friday, September 19. Marion County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 28-16 non-league win over Fairdale (Fairdale, KY).
With the defeat, W.E.B. DuBois Academy drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Western (Louisville, KY) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-3. Western lost 28-18 in their recent non-league test against Shawnee (Louisville, KY)
