Wisconsin High School Football - Merrill sneaks past Medford

The Merrill Bluejays football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Medford Raiders to 16 in the Bluejays league triumph on Friday.
The Bluejays now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Antigo for a Great Northern test on Thursday, September 18. Merrill will face a Red Robins team coming off a 49-0 league loss to Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI). The Red Robins record now stands at 1-3.
The Raiders (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Lakeland (Minocqua, WI). The Thunderbirds enter the Great Northern game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Lakeland held off Mosinee (Mosinee, WI), 24-20, in a league game.
