The Methuen Rangers football squad scored 35 points and limited the host North Andover Scarlet Knights to 14 in the Rangers league triumph on Friday.

The Rangers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tewksbury Memorial for a Merrimack Valley - Medium game on Friday, September 19. Methuen will face a Redmen team coming off a 34-6 non-league win over Winthrop (Winthrop, MA). The Redmen record now stands at 1-0.

The Scarlet Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA). The Chieftains enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Masconomet Regional ran past Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA), 38-22, in a non-league game.
