The Mott Corsairs were victorious over the host Walled Lake Western Warriors football team by a score of 42-34 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Corsairs face the Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Mott will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 42-21 non-league loss to Carlson (Gibraltar, MI).
The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Knights enter the Lakes Valley challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Walled Lake Northern was defeated by South Lyon (South Lyon, MI), 48-0, in a league test.
