North Carolina High School Football - Mount Zion Christian Academy smashes South Wake

September 12, 2025: Durham, NC 27707

The Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors (Durham, NC) football trounced the visiting South Wake Lions (Apex, NC), 38-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Mighty Warriors now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host East Chapel Hill for a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. Mount Zion Christian Academy will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 38-7 non-league win over Carrboro (Carrboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, South Wake drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Wayne Christian (Goldsboro, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, September 26. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 1-3.
