The Nazareth Swifts football squad scored 54 points and limited the visiting Silverton Owls to 6 in the Swifts non-league triumph on Friday.

The Swifts now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Nazareth will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 52-6 non-league loss to Jayton (Jayton, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Silverton drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Booker (Booker, TX) to face the Kiowas in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Kiowas enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Booker won 62-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Groom (Groom, TX)
