The Palmer Tigers felled the visiting Nebraska Christian Eagles football team by a score of 52-36 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE) in a D2 District 6 (8 Man) test, on Friday, September 19. Palmer will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Longhorns come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 54-38 non-league win over Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE).

With the defeat, Nebraska Christian drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Howells-Dodge (Howells, NE) to face the Jaguars in a D2 District 3 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 19. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Howells-Dodge won 62-0 in their recent non-league game against Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE)
