Illinois High School Football - Niles Notre Dame edged by St. Laurence

The St. Laurence Vikings got by the visiting Niles Notre Dame Dons football squad by a margin of 15-14 in Friday's non-league test.

The Vikings now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Carmel for a CCL/ESCC - White test on Friday, September 19. St. Laurence will face a Corsairs team coming off a 35-28 non-league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Corsairs record now stands at 2-1.

The Dons (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Celtics enter the CCL/ESCC - Orange challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Providence Catholic held off Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 35-28, in a non-league challenge.
