The Varina Blue Devils football team scored 55 points and held the host Norcom Greyhounds to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Friday.
In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Hermitage Panthers (Richmond, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Varina will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 62-13 non-league win over Henrico (Richmond, VA).
The Greyhounds (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Mustangs enter the Eastern game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Manor overwhelmed Lakeland (Suffolk, VA), 50-6, in a non-league game.
