South Carolina High School Football - South Pointe holds off Northwestern

September 12, 2025: Rock Hill, SC 29732

The South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) football tipped the host Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC), 27-23 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Stallions now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to A.C. Flora for a AAAA Region 3 contest on Friday, September 19. South Pointe will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 49-0 non-league win over Laurens (Laurens, SC). The Falcons record now stands at 4-0.

Coming up next, the Trojans battle the Nation Ford Falcons (Fort Mill, SC) in a AAAAA Region 3 contest, on Friday, September 19. Northwestern will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 56-27 non-league win over Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC).
