North Carolina High School Football - West Henderson prevails Owen

September 12, 2025: Black Mountain, NC 28711

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting West Henderson Falcons football squad scored a good 37-15 triumph over the Owen Warhorses.

The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Mountaineers go into the Mountain Eight 4A/5A battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Tuscola prevailed over North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 38-26, in a league battle.

The Warhorses now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Polk County for a Western Highlands 2A/3A battle on Friday, September 19. Owen will play a Wolverines team coming off a 35-14 non-league win over Patton (Morganton, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-2.
