In Friday's league match, the host St. Thomas Aquinas Saints football squad scored a decisive 48-0 triumph over the Pembroke Spartans.
The Saints (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH). The The Pride come into the Division II - East match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Merrimack Valley was ripped by Bow (Bow, NH), 42-14, in a league battle.
The Spartans now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Kennett for a Division II - East battle on Saturday, September 20. Pembroke will play a Eagles team coming off a 50-18 league loss to Plymouth (Plymouth, NH). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
