The Pewitt Brahmas got by the host Redwater Dragons football team by a score of 40-35 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Brahmas face the Hughes Springs Mustangs (Hughes Springs, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Pewitt will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 58-0 non-league win over Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX).

The Dragons (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against New Diana (Diana, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, New Diana nipped Sabine (Gladewater, TX), 56-20, in a non-league challenge.
