In Friday's league game, the Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME) football team edged the host Windham Eagles (Windham, ME), by a tally of 28-21.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Deering Rams (Portland, ME) in a A North game, on Friday, September 19. Portland will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 54-31 league win over Edward Little (Auburn, ME).
