Colorado High School Football - Questa loses to Sangre de Cristo

September 12, 2025: Mosca, CO 81146

Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds (Mosca, CO) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Questa Wildcats (Questa, NM), 20-6 in a non-league battle.

With the triumph, Sangre de Cristo upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Walsenburg (Walsenburg, CO) to confront the Panthers in a A-8 Six County (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 26. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 1-1.

The Wildcats now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ramah for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Questa will play a Mustangs team coming off a 50-0 non-league loss to Menaul (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-3.
