    The Stuarts Draft Cougars felled the visiting Riverheads Gladiators football team by a score of 29-13 in Friday's league challenge.

    Next, the Cougars meet the Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) in a Shenandoah test, on Friday, September 26. Stuarts Draft will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.

    With the defeat, Riverheads drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA) to face the Bison in a Shenandoah challenge on Friday, September 19. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Buffalo Gap lost 35-18 in their recent league challenge against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA)
