The Sheridan Yellowjackets football team (Sheridan, AR), was crushed 84-40 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Rogers Mountaineers (Rogers, AR)

With the win, Rogers advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Northside (Fort Smith, AR) to confront the Grizzlies in a 7A West contest on Friday, September 26. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a record of 0-3. Northside lost 44-20 in their recent non-league contest against Coweta (Coweta, OK)
