California High School Football - Washington crushed by Sequoia

September 12, 2025: Redwood City, CA 94062

The Sequoia Ravens overwhelmed the visiting Washington Eagles football squad by a margin of 49-9 in Friday's non-league test.

The Ravens now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South San Francisco for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Sequoia will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 41-14 non-league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Washington drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Richmond (Richmond, CA) to face the Oilers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Oilers go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Richmond lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Galileo (San Francisco, CA)
