In Friday's non-league game, the Tri-County RVT Cougars (Franklin, MA) football team triumphed over the visiting Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI), by a score of 42-0.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Case Cardinals (Swansea, MA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 19. Tri-County RVT will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Cardinals come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 26-6 non-league win over Southeastern RVT (South Easton, MA).
