    The West Jefferson Panthers felled the visiting South Fremont Cougars football team by a score of 49-28 in Friday's non-league challenge.

    In their next game, the Panthers play the Parma Panthers (Parma, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. West Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 63-0 non-league loss to Filer (Filer, ID).

    The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Snake River (Blackfoot, ID). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Snake River toppled Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID), 37-6, in a league challenge.
