Iowa High School Football - Spencer can't get by Western Christian

September 12, 2025: Spencer, IA 51301

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Western Christian Wolfpack football squad scored a close 22-21 triumph over the Spencer Tigers.

The Wolfpack (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Sheldon (Sheldon, IA). The Orabs come into the 2A Group 1 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Sheldon nipped Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA), 34-14, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Sioux Center for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Spencer will play a Warriors team coming off a 51-32 non-league win over Le Mars (Le Mars, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-0.
