South Carolina High School Football - St. James nips Wando

September 12, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) and the host Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC), witnessed St. James's football squad edge Wando by a tally of 21-14.

The Sharks (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against James Island (Charleston, SC). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, James Island nudged Cane Bay (Summerville, SC), 34-14, in a non-league bout.

The Warriors now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Ashley for a non-league contest on Friday, September 19. Wando will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 39-0 non-league loss to Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
