The Valley Oaks CES Vanguards football squad scored 46 points and limited the host Villanova Prep Wildcats to 20 in the Vanguards non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vanguards now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host New Designs Watts for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Valley Oaks CES will meet a Knights squad coming off a 80-20 non-league loss to California School for the Deaf-Riverside (Riverside, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Villanova Prep drops to 0-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Vista Meridian (Santa Ana, CA) to face the Meridian Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 19. The Meridian Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Vista Meridian lost 54-6 in their recent league challenge against Calvary Baptist (La Verne, CA)
