The West Delaware Hawks felled the host Waukon Indians football team by a score of 34-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks play the Wahlert Golden Eagles (Dubuque, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. West Delaware will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 19-13 non-league loss to Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA).
The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest City (Forest City, IA). The Indians enter the 2A Group 3 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Forest City lost by Algona (Algona, IA), 60-16, in a non-league challenge.
