Michigan High School Football - Whitehall sneaks past Zeeland West

The Whitehall Vikings football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Zeeland West Dux to 28 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montague for a West Michigan - Lakes test on Friday, September 19. Whitehall will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-20 league win over Orchard View (Muskegon, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Zeeland West moves to 2-1 on the season. The Dux host South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI) to face the Sailors in a Ottawa-Kent - Gold challenge on Friday, September 19. The Sailors go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. South Christian lost 27-20 in their recent non-league challenge against West Catholic (Grand Rapids, MI)
