The Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) soccer overwhelmed the host Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT), 8-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Bobcats now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Woodstock Academy for a Eastern Connecticut I challenge on Thursday, September 18. Bacon Academy will encounter a Centaurs squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Centaurs record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Griswold drops to 1-2 on the season. The Wolverines host New London (New London, CT) to battle the Whalers in a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. The Whalers enter the battle with a record of 0-1.
