Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), 3-2 in a non-league outing.

The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions go into the non-league outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Farmington was edged by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 4-2, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Sundevils confront the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 13. Sandia Prep will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Cavemen/Cavegirls go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM).
