With the triumph, Honesdale advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA) to play the Wildcats in a Lackawanna 2 outing on Monday, September 15. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 3-2. Western Wayne won 9-0 in their recent non-league outing against Forest City (Forest City, PA)

Next up, the Buckhorns play the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 outing, on Monday, September 15. Wallenpaupack Area will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Mid Valley (Throop, PA).
