The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA) and the host Bishop Union Broncos (Bishop, CA), saw Burroughs's football team nip Bishop Union by a final score of 7-6.

With the win, Burroughs advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Burros travel to Barstow (Barstow, CA) to encounter the Aztecs in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. The Aztecs go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Barstow won 14-8 in their recent non-league battle against Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA)

The Broncos now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Mammoth for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19.
