The Blake Bengals football squad scored 27 points and held the host Whitman Vikings to 16 in the Bengals non-league victory on Friday.
The Bengals (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD). The Blue Devils go into the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Springbrook dropped by Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD), 51-6, in a non-league bout.
The Vikings now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Wootton for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 18. Whitman will encounter a Patriots team coming off a 40-12 non-league win over Damascus (Damascus, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.
