California High School Football - Firebaugh knocked off by Roosevelt

In Friday's non-league game, the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Fresno, CA) football squad knocked off the visiting Firebaugh Eagles (Firebaugh, CA), by a margin of 30-20.

The Rough Riders now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sanger West for a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. Roosevelt will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 60-28 non-league win over Fowler (Fowler, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Firebaugh falls to 1-2 on the year. The Eagles host Coalinga (Coalinga, CA) to battle the Horned Toads in a game on Friday, October 3. The Horned Toads go into the bout with a record of 3-0.
