California High School Football - Sylmar edged by Poly

The Poly Parrots edged the host Sylmar Spartans football team by a score of 13-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Parrots face the Marshall Barristers (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Poly will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Barristers come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 26-0 non-league win over Monroe (North Hills, CA).

With the defeat, Sylmar drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA) to clash with the Chancellors in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Chancellors come into the game with a record of 1-2. Chatsworth lost 42-24 in their recent non-league game against Westlake (Westlake Village, CA)
