New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs (Mattapoisett, MA), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, New Bedford moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Whalers travel to Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. The Indians come into the test with a record of 0-1. Dartmouth lost 1-0 in their recent non-league outing against Apponequet Regional (Lakeville, MA)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons (North Dighton, MA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 15. Old Rochester Regional will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
