Bell Creek Academy Panthers (Riverview, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Plato Collegiate Academy Griffins (Tampa, FL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Brooksville, FL). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Central beat South Sumter (Bushnell, FL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Griffins face the Hillsborough Terriers (Tampa, FL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Plato Collegiate Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
