The Pierce Bears topped the host Gridley Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bears face the Durham Trojans (Durham, CA) in a game, on Tuesday, September 16. Pierce will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 11-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Chico (Chico, CA).

The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Oroville (Oroville, CA). The Tigers go into the outing with a 1-6 record.
