Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Greendale Panthers (Greendale, WI) and the visiting Burlington Demons (Burlington, WI), saw Greendale's soccer squad prevail over Burlington by a score of 5-1.
The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Nicolet (Glendale, WI). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Nicolet edged Homestead (Mequon, WI), 2-1, in a league test.
The Demons now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Brookfield Central for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Burlington will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 1-1 league Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI). The Lancers record now stands at 2-2.
