Verde Valley Coyotes (Sedona, AZ) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Heritage Academy Heroes (Maricopa, AZ), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Verde Valley advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Arrowhead Christian Academy (Glendale, AZ) to play the Eagles in a CAA D1 Fiesta outing on Thursday, September 18. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Heroes play the ASU Prep Sun Devils (Phoenix, AZ) in a CAA D2 Sahuaro outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Heritage Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
